Construction of Cornerstone Church

Elzinga & Volkers is thrilled to be a part of the construction of Cornerstone Church in Caledonia, MI. They are currently located in a traditional church, however they would like to build a new place of worship that is focused on having a warm and inviting place for the congregation to gather. To obtain this goal, Elzinga & Volkers and Progressive AE plan to add several sections to the building that focus on the congregation. A youth ministry area, kid center, outreach and prayer center will facilitate family togetherness. A cafe will even be built within the church for the individuals who need a "pick-me-up" for the early morning service. The project is scheduled to begin in July and will last through August 2009. We are excited to have the opportunity to bring the members of Cornerstone "home" to their new location.

Construction Complete on 330 East Beltline Project

Elzinga & Volkers, Inc. has recently completed construction of 330 East Beltline. Craig Architects design consists of three (3) floors with up to six (6) 5,000 square foot lease spaces. The project started in March and, with its aggressive schedule, was completed on time and under budget in May.

Harbor Terrace Condominiums Completed

Elzinga & Volkers, Inc. has recently completed construction on Harbor Terrace. The project included renovation of an old factory into a mixed use facility including retail, parking and condominiums. The condominiums were constructed to desired specifications of the individuals purchasing the property.

New Construction on Goodwill Store Completed

Elzinga & Volkers, Inc., General Contractor completed construction for a new prototype Goodwill Store in Ionia, MI. This is the fourth store to be completed with the new design, and the third completed by Elzinga & Volkers team. The 13,307 square foot building is located on South Steele Street, just south of West Adams Street in Ionia, Michigan. Elzinga & Volkers, Inc. has built a store that is larger, brighter in color and features a new coffee bar to heighten the shopping experience. The new location is a part of Goodwill's goal to change the retail operation to make it more competitive in today's marketplace.

Advantage Health Medical Offices Completed

Construction of Advantage Health in Caledonia has recently been completed by the Construction Management team of Elzinga & Volkers, Inc. The New medical office building includes 17 exam rooms, 3 procedure rooms, a radiology suite, blood lab and a physical rehabilitation center. This is one of many construction projects Elzinga & Volkers, has worked on for Advantage Health.
